Greenball fully exposed and NOT doing anything...this was the set of the day! The entire top end was awash with wind-swept mush today. I'm really picking my days well, after missing all that gold through the week!

Back to Taiwan

 Jinshan this morning looks pretty nice (courtesy of "Tube"). Hope everyone had a good summer. Merewether had some decent swell at times and a particularly persistent bank had peeling lefts for weeks on end. It was great fun. If you have any stories/photos you'd like to post, as always, forward them on to me.

Good fun watching the quarters and the semis last night streaming. The air games of these guys just gets better and better. Here's a tip from Pointyhat: after seeing Filipe Toledo as a rookie at Merewether Surfest in 2012, we predicted he'd be a superstar. He's now made two quarters in a row as a rookie....look out, here come the Brazil Nuts!!

Tomb Sweeping Surfers

Spring break campers, Dan and Nicky with the kids, met up with Dave and Cass at Pointies for a fun, very small paddle. The tomb sweepers kept the roads pretty packed on the way over and back. After the surf the hot spring beckoned! Photos: Nicky, Mintie, Dave and Dan
