Father and daughter Clark are missing the whales breaching and the dolphins puffing...not to mention the crystal clear waters of Byron Bay. The Pointy Hat Club members are all in a kind of hangover from the summer break this week. Sophie Clark shows some style above and Peter surfs with an arm in plaster below.

Lots of boys out at the rocket. Ross and Dave arrived at 7.15 to find Carl, Tobes and Gary in the water. Two guys were paddling out and 4 more were on their way. Too many for a little peak.
R&D went to Jinshan number 2 to practise some tuck, duck and smash manoeuvres on the very
shallow bank.
Bob was on his way across the mountain followed by a phalanx of local boys.....hate to see the crowd at 11!

Josh rockets in

Ross, Josh, Peter and Carl head back


Josh joined the Pointy Hat Surf Club this afternoon as he Coomba, Ross, Carl and Dave at the Rocket. Jinshan small and blown, Rocket small but clean. One Pointy was euphoric after a freak set produced a beautiful full cover up barrel. A rarity here in Taiwan, especially in conditions like today.
The boys are hoping for great things tomorrow morning....plan to head over early

World's Smallest Wave Competition: photographic evidence of the world's smallest rideable wave. This competition is perfectly suited to Taiwanese conditions. Peter lays down the gauntlet with this 6 inch monster.

First day back and Ross and Dave met Tobes and Carl out at Jinshan for a paddle. Surf was pretty small, armada of hire board boys in the water, but they had fun. A few sherbets were enjoyed at the little bar as the sun set...great stuff!
Dave got a few little beauties like this at home during the break and even took the Harley to see Clarky territory (below)
