The Pasha Bulka beached itself at Nobbies beach in Newcastle

Legropes both snapped in the big swellRoss and Ains came over to see Newcastle just after this huge coal ship, the Pasha Bulka, decided that the cyclone was just to tough to fight against. In the subsequent rather large swells, both Ross and Dave snapped their legropes. There will be some videos posted up top soon of the Pasha and a rather amazing storm surf at Merewether (language warning...I got a bit excited!)
