Sublime to the, well, not so...!

The weather was stunning today but the surf had gone off from its purple patch yesterday. Pics right on full tide, but as the tide dropped it improved again, a couple of banks starting to break further out and move through.

Pointies middle peak barrels

Dan reports:
Pointies could be worth a check in the morning - maybe. The swell did die away on the low tide but then came back in with the incoming tide. The left in the middle of the bay was just the most perfect ever. Actually a couple barrels to be had without too much effort. Of course it was only perfect for a mere 30 minutes and the guys said that it was closing out just before that. The light southerly produce a nice off shore that cleaned up the face of the wave. Pretty amazing actually. Well I am probably talking it up as the other guys there were that stoked with it.
Anyway could be worth a check tomorrow.

Wushi Sunday

Wushi gang still pulling a crowd. Looks like the expected surf etiquette is still a long way off too...

I know I keep threatening, but maybe, just maybe, someone is ready to be the next Pointy of the Month!

• move web address back down and to side
• include the little Meez character (see sidebar, down on the right)
• shadow a Taiwan map behind the word Taiwan
• some kind of silhouette, mabe including a pointy hat
• some surf or other motif on the sleeve
  

Rabbit Rules

The skinny kid who ruled Kirra and Snapper in the late 70s (along with the legend MP) is now the ASP supremo. Great to get a reminder of the tatty surf mag posters I had on my bedroom wall in high school, check some Rabbit 70s gold at this link.
