The weather was stunning today but the surf had gone off from its purple patch yesterday. Pics right on full tide, but as the tide dropped it improved again, a couple of banks starting to break further out and move through.
I'm thinking about moving to Taiwan to live. I have taught and lived throughout Asia and though that Taiwan might be fun. I used to surf about 10 yeas ago and have not had much of a chance recently but would like to get back into surfing on a regular basis. I was never any good but love the ocean and would like to get back on a board. How do you find life out there. I have basic Chinese and would probably work as an English teacher. How far are the places you guys surf from Taipei? Hope to hear from you soon.
surf is pretty fickle, the water is dirty and it's really really crowded but very ocassionally it can be good oh and the further down the island you go the better it gets
